Boy am I seeing alot of them this month!!

First of all, of course, you have 07/07/07.

Then you have the 7th Harry Potter book coming out in the 7th month in 2007, in which you will find out the identities of 7 horcruxes.

Yesterday, there were only 7 days until the release of the 7th Harry Potter book.

And then you have the cool addition of it being Friday the 13th in the 7th month, making the date 7/13, reminiscent of vault #713, in which the Philosopher's Stone was kept in the first book of Harry Potter (whose 7th installment will be released)


Yeah, I'll shut up now.

So who here's excited about the LAST HARRY POTTER BOOK? I sure am!!! I just can't believe it's already so close!! I'm THRILLED! And yet scared.. I want so bad to read the book, but I just don't want it to END. Harry Potter's been a part of my life since the fourth or fifth grade. How am I going to take it when there are no longer any upcoming books to theorize about?

But I shouldn't think about that. For now, I should just be excited about the book and about the midnight party at Borders.


I wish I could write more, but my stomach's starting to hurt and I really need to go to sleep. ^_^' See you all!

LOOK MA, NO JUNK ON THE DESK!!

Yes, that's right, folks. I spent the entirety of Monday cleaning my room. Well, we tried to do the whole room, but all we could finish was cleaning out our dressers and our desks. It seriously took the whole day 'cause of all the junk on them. I mean, stuff was PILED, like, five inches high.

BUT NOW IT'S CLEAN. I CAN SEE WHAT COLOR IT IS. IT'S A MIRACLE!!

*cough*

In other news, I had the nerve a few days back to put one of my newest deviations, the Narra one with the flowers, up in the shop as a print. A futile attempt at getting just a few more cents of money toward my Anime Expo fund. I just wanted to see what would happen if I submitted it as a print. =3

Do you think I should start watermarking my pictures? Almost everyone else does, and I think I'm starting to get good enough that people might want to steal my work. It's not that I don't want people using my art, but I don't want them plagarizing my art, yaknow? That's why I like the Creative Commons thingeemajigee you can put on your deviations. It's kind of like a copyright that people already pay attention to. I mean, alot of stuff on DevArt is (c) copyrighted, but people all over the internet are printing them out and using them, which is technically illegal since it's (c). But they're already doing it and nothing's gonna stop them, so I'm just gonna let them. 0_o

Am I right, or am I rambling? Rambling. I thought so.

Oh! And yesterday I went to the California Science Center. They had this big Star Wars exhibit, which was spiffycool. They had tons of props and costumes. Wewt! And then after the exhibit was a gift shop place full of Star Wars stuffs. Most of it was too expensive.. but I DID buy my imoto-chan her birthday present - a big Yoda poster!! So now it's up on our wall and looks cool. =3

I've got my Sciezka cosplay materials and am ready to start working on the costume!! Hopefully I'll get a good portion of that done during break.

Yes, I know the Christmas season has pretty much been going on since before Thanksgiving, and we're already a week into Advent, but it's only now that I really feel that Christmas is coming up. Because my family has just put up the tree. =3 It's an artificial tree, yeah, but it's still a tree. And it has purdy lights! Nyah!

Man, I just love my family. We're listening to KOST 103.5 on the radio (yaknow, the one with all the Christmas music on it) and we just start singing the songs together... in three-part harmony. x3 It's awesome when your entire family's in choir with you. It's so fun, and it sounds so good when we sing together!! <3

But man have I been sleep deprived this past week. Homework has kept me up into the early hours of the morning most nights, and now I feel extremely pooped. So I'm going to have an early bed-time tonight sometime soon to catch up on some sleep.

DARNFREAKINSTUPID CJB.NET!!! I HATE YOUUU!!

They were ad-free at first, but now I'm afraid my site is infesting everyone's computers with spyware and viruses. And I don't want that! That's it, from now on until I get my own domain name, I'm directing everyone to http://kolidescope.freespaces.com! ... But that would mean I need to change all my existing links.. Oh poo.

Well, I have been producing squat when it comes to digital art these days. I haven't even scanned in many of my sketches. You know why? Because I decided to take too many AP classes and my teachers feel the need to give us lots of homework.

Hopefully I'll be able to get alot of art done this weekend, but the majority of it will probably be the Ranger ID requests I still need to do for the people on the Risembool Rangers forum. Gees, I still have like.. ten people. Some from all the way back in April. I'm hopeless. x___x

Another thing I have to do is start on Kalisama's 50 Art Challenge on Deviantart. Luckily there's no due date, so I'm good. =3 Unless she decides to stop acknowledging people who finished it. And I'm also going to have to make a new layout for this site. I've had the same one for over a year now. -__-' *shame on me*

In other news, I made a messenger bag! Like, made one! With the sewing machine! And I've actually been using it for school! I feel so happeh, because I actually made something useful. The seams holding the straps on are kind of falling apart, though.. I need to fix that.

Am I finished with the random rambling? Okay, good. I shall be going to sleep now.

Well, in about a month and a half I shall be going to Anime Expo. I haven't gotten much done on my cosplay, and I still have to finish the yardwork I have to do to earn my money to buy my wig. And pulling weeds in my backyard is no easy job, let me tell you. o_o

I've had this layout for about a year now. I'm in desperate need of a new one. Hopefully I'll get a new one up before AX time. And also, hopefully, when I get my new layout done, I can actually put some stuff on this site that people will actually come here for. Graphics, an' such! I need to be useful!!

I just downloaded a 30-day trial version of Manga Studio. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it, but right now I have a problem with the tones they give you to use. They're too icky. >_< Maybe the full version has better ones. So far, I've only worked on one thing, and that's a little omake-comic I made about Brian and cheesecake (For you, Yuna! xD) And I'm planning on scanning in another one about Emo!Luke. (I don't think you've seen that either, Yuna.)

Aaah! Computer is so good! x3 It's so hard to be deprived of internet time for a period of 46 days! And now it's so good to be back, without a lame 30-minute time limit.. I must savor this. ^^

But now there's lots of things I have to do that I haven't been able to do for a while, so I'm a little backed up with stuff like art requests, birthday drawings, etc.. *ggeeeeh*

Happy New Year, everybody!! I just came back from a caving trip with my uncle. We went through lava tubes. Hehe. And then we stayed in a hotel and then we drove home in the pouring rain. I hate storms..

And oh, I forgot to say Merry Christmas to everyone!! MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS!! I hope everyone had a good holiday - I know I did. Guess what I got? I GOT MY TABLET!! w000t!! *happiness and joy* It's taking me a while to get used to it, but I'm sure I'll manage. Hopefully I'll be putting up some tablet-drawn art in the Gallery soon, or on Deviantart.

Uuugh, I'm sick. ;_; I have a fever, a really bad headache, and a really bad cough. And on Thanksgiving, too!!! The rest of my family except for my mom are going to drive out to my grandma's house, and I'm staying here at home with my mom. We don't want my grandma to get sick, now, do we? 0_o But it's Thanksgiving! I don't want to stay home on Thanksgiving.. I just hope I'm better by tomorrow.

The GOOD news is, I finally updated my art gallery!! :D Now you can see all of the pictures I actually care about there. It took all day yesterday while I stayed home from school. I even split them up into three categories - Colored, good sketches, and untidy sketches. Enjoy. ^^

Neeeeeeeeeh! My FMA obsession needs to be fed.. I must make a new layout! :o I think my next one shall be.. FULLMETAL WARS! Or.. maybe not that title, but I want to do a FMA/Star Wars theme. How can I possibly put these two together, you say? By drawing a picture of Edo with a lightsaber, of course! And then I shall have a picture of Yoda, and it'll say "Don't mess with the midgets." XD

Wow, it's been such a long time since I've posted any entries in here! I should really post more.. Heh.

If you were to look at my "Favorites Folder" page, you would notice that there are alot of 88x31 images lined up there. This is because I have been joining alot of fanlistings lately, just for the heck of it. I like the little codes they give out. ^^ Yeah. I also updated the "link to me" affiliate-image-thingees. I have more sizes, and they're all with my own artwork on it. Yay for little 88x31 linkee-images!

Halloween is on Monday!! YAY! I'm going to be a Jedi! Haha! I'm trying to make it while spending the least amount of money as possible. And I'm going to make the robe, because I couldn't find anything I liked in the costume stores. I have a lightsaber, too! One that actually retracts all the way into the handle! JEDI ARE COOOOL!!! YAH!

Me and my friend are going to cosplay to next year's AX as Riku and Risa from DNAngel! It'll be so fun. ^_^

I need to learn PHP.... 0_o (Random thought.)

WAHOOOO!! I found out how to put music on my site! So now, you can listen to a very low-quality version of Hagane no Kokoro when you visit my website!

I had to make it a MIDI file.. For some reason, an MP3 wouldn't work (and I didn't have any place to upload it to because no free hosting services accept MP3 files) and of course a WAV file is too huge and kept skipping. ... If you have any advice as to how I can put an MP3 as background music, PLEASE, CONTACT ME AND GIVE ME ADVICE! 0_0

Ahah! Back from vacation. I went to the Anime Expo the day before we left for a week-long vacation, so I haven't been able to do anything about AX on my blog. So, here it is! OH EM GEE, I'm going to the Anime Expo every year! That was sooooooo funnnnn! I even got to see a premier screening of the next two episodes of FMA yet to be released on Cartoon Network! And I got Ed's autograph.. Well, Vic's autograph. He's the voice actor of Ed, so it's kind of the same thing. XD He signed my Alphonse pillow! 'Tis so adorable. *Huggles pillow* And I DID finish my cosplay! It was a success! I would put a picture up here on my website, but my parents would never allow me, and I kind of agree with them.. Because, wouldn't you be freaked out if there was a picture of you online that ANYONE IN THE WORLD could access whenever they wanted? ...... Yeah. I don't put my picture online. Oh em gee, I watched the first DNAngel Anime DVD. *Gag**Cough**Sputter* *Die* I thought it was horrible.. It was like it was made by someone who only had the character designs and a faintest idea of what the plot was. And the character's voices were... Annoying!! Except Dark's. XD Well, for all you who haven't seen the Anime.. Forget about it. Really. The manga rules, the anime stinks. I need to put up a new layout for this site! I could just do a Fullmetal Alchemist theme.. BUT, I might also want to do a crossover with FMA. ^_^ Like, "Use the Force, Edward!" ... XD I think I should do that.

Woooow. I haven't posted an entry in my blog for a long time.

SUMMMEEERRRRRR!!! I'm so happy! It's finally summer! And that means the Anime Expo is in.. TWO WEEKS! Nyahahah! My Songstress costume is still in progress. I have the skirt, the belt, the arm-thingees, and the blue top (without the ruffles). I am currently trying to figure out how to make the sideskirt work with the fabric I got. Maybe I should've gotten a heavier fabric.. But oh well, too late now. I already spent on fabric and stuff. So, anyway. HAPPY SUMMER!
